The Making of Perform or Else

Tim Edkins, Jon McKenzie

Abstract

In October 2013, Tim Edkins interviewed Jon McKenzie for an issue of the journal ephemera, which included some questions about the construction of Perform or Else. Those questions and responses were not ultimately included in the published interview (McKenzie, Edkins and Shukatis 2014), and are presented here for the first time. With commentary by Edkins, McKenzie narrates the intellectual heritage and writing of Perform or Else.
